Trader Joe's Whoopee Pies

Appears Clean

These are SO good! I freeze them sometimes. We've brought these as a birthday treat to parties. My older son's birthday is in the summer so I brought these to his Vacation Bible School to celebrate his birthday with a few friends.

Company Response:

To answer your question, we do not allow the use of BHT, BHA, TBHQ, or MSG in any of our private label products.

Trader Joe's recently stopped filling out forms for Feingold. It seems that most if not all of Trader Joe's products would be clean. The cheese however I know is not. Their supplier must add preservatives to it or something.

  1. Hi Sheri

We are looking to start the Feingold soon. We have been dye/additive/preservative free for almost 2 years now. So I assume the diet won't be too difficult. But i know there are still some things in diet that drastically affect her behavior. In you lenghty research, what have you see with natural flavors and your kids responses? It seems to be in increasingly more products (processed snacks), even Trader Joe's now seems to have natural flavors in EVERYTHING. Just looking for your opinion on this subject.
Thanks for all the work you do on your blogs!!
